Honqi is always demoralizing me by telling me that i've reached my limit or i cant do anymore pull-ups when i hit 13. God damn her. Now all i have to do is speed... Citius !

&Math is killing me. I need help ! ahhhhhh. Mrs Ng expects me to pass up 10questions, CA corrections, CF3 corrections, do a test all by this week.

ORIENTATION 2010

Now.. how do i start? I was thinking of talking about before and after orientation till i thought of talking about what my feelings and what i have learned, and then i thought of just typing a whole chunk of text.

I'm glad everything is "Officially" over for all of us, no more worries or frets for I/Cs of what may happen, leaving a point out, being short of logistics items nor having to suffer the tremor of a mass briefing without any mistakes. However, for my logistics committee, im sorry but we still have to stay back on Monday and Tuesday to return items to PE department, school and the GO. If everything can be done by Monday, we're finally freee!

Shao Cong and i were guarding (watch dogs) at the guard-post to prevent students from leaving the college early today and/or to prevent people from "gatecrashing" our Jam&Hop session. Whilst sitting, we talked about having spent months of meetings, briefings, planning and organizing just for an event that lasts seven days. Was it worth? Definitely! It was indeed a tough period for most of us as J2 started with a boomz, but im sure all councilors will agree that the ecstatic faces and the fact that this year's cohort is maxed out is worth muchmuch more than what we contributed.

I was appointed the logistics I/C for Orientation, a position people term as "Sai Kang Warrior" or the "Most sway comm". To be truthful, i believe it is rather true, but to a small extent. Most of the time, we had to borrow logistic items for all the different races and Jam&Hop and lots of physical strength were required. However, i believe it is more than that. Through it, i had learned the real meaning of being responsible and being accountable for anything you get from other people, be it just trash bags or raffia strings which cost very little to Walkie-talkies and everything for BBQ which i believe cost thousands. There also had to be a certain level of communication to ensure that messages were relayed clearly. I never knew how important communication was until orientation had started. It was indeed stressful for me as it was my first time really being a "head" and I spent so much time that i not only neglected my studies but also people around me - friends and family. Sometimes, we have to sacrifice things so important to us (personal) for things we may not like doing or are of no importance to ourselves. I believe thats discipline.

In addition, lucky for me, i had a team of extremely capable people who guided me through the whole event - Chinrong, Jervy, Siongkoon, Tereza and Chuping. If without them, i think i would have crashed long ago. They made me realize the importance of team dynamics, trust and faith. Without proper teamwork, we would probably have screwed up all the DIY items and our log list. I have a feeling Jervy and Siongkoon is still angry with me though !

Also, i want to thank espesp to Nicholas and Pris for giving me the confidence when i was feeling so pussified just now. Throughout the 7days of orientation, NO one day had any rain until the faithful late afternoon few hours back. I was completely surprised by the sudden change in weather. In less than an hour, the baking and scorching sun was covered by clouds and it started to rain, crazily heavy that the pipes in the school burst and councilors had to help me to sweep the water away. Before it rained and while it was raining, i was panicking. What should i do? Yes, i prepared a wet weather programme but i was told on the very last minute that the WedEx will be used buffet catered for parents. I almost broke down, lucky ms suryati, mr chew and Chinrong gave the confidence that the rain will stop and we councilors "prayed" together. The rain did stop, phew. Sometimes, you really have to depend on fate and luck. What if it didnt? Will Jam&Hop have been as wonderful? I should have been better prepared and not think that it would not have rained. All of a sudden, the saying "Don't take things for granted" sounds so true.

The other disappointment i faced during this period was what had happened both in SC and for myself. I know i should not bring up this point, but i just felt that i should. It is definitely tough to work with someone you detest/hate/don'tlike, however, since we are in sc, there should be some professionalism in whatever we do. For orientation, personal matters should not have been brought in. sorrry but im not pinpointing anyone. just feel that i should have dropped this paragraph in. no offense to anyone in particular. For myself, i have neglected a lot of things and i am guilty of bringing my bad/moody mood in at times. Things do get really frustrating at times that somehow i will give a person a FF. Personal improvement have to be doneeeee.

Of course there are many learning points and positive things about orientation! The most important of all is that it is not easy to being a head and i have learned a hella lot. Sounds so redundant. However, its true. Any mistakes committed by others have to be accounted by me myself and hence, the importance of communication cannot be stressed further. I think it is also my first time other than during the election period whereby i stood in front of a big group to give briefings and to facilitate groups. It has taught me how important inter-personal skills and basic courtesy is to one to make people not hate you but listen. Another key takeaway is mental strength and good attitude. A lot at times, most SLs have to take charge of a certain game or an event. We have to know that we have much more important stuffs to do and even if there's a commotion/"fun", we cannot be involved. Meaning, we perform for let people enjoy. Orientation has also allowed me to meet so many more YJCians that i see my facebook friends increasing day by day! Even though slowly :s

Feeling so wonderful that everything went well for the past 7 days and we did not have any major problems. I believe we did not miss any lessons for the past 7days but instead we learned more, just Life and Leadership skills which are out of the syllabus.

Next chapter in life will be the returning to reality.. the cruel studying days. I hope everyone of us will be able to catch up with what we missed out during the 7days and that it does not affect our results, if yes, not terribly bad. Now that orientation is over, i have no idea where i should move on from here. Exit or enter? It seems to be all over as well, i think i am just a mere normal hibye person .

It sucks to know you're not moving; stationary, while looking at other people moving. They are getting further away, yet i am still standing still. Sometimes its worth a wonder whether something you do will bring you results more/greater than the effort you're about to put in. If it doesn't, then what gives motivation?

HEH, back from day 2 of Orientation and the week. Today's orient was sososo much better than yesterday's! Cheers were doubly louder, more people are involved in the games and there were quite a number of positive comments!

Never expected orientation to be so tiring, much worse than attending lessons. however,, despite being tired, looking at things run smoothly and the cheerful faces were more than enough to offset it!

during collegerace, i was shocked when one group suddenly approached and chased after me and actually carried me around the whole school ! famous yinxian ! hahahaha.

THE OGLs REALLY ROCK TTM!

Lets hope as each day goes by, more and more juniors will LOVE YJC!

My life for the past week was pretty much screwed up with homeworks, tests/exams, orientation and that. Suppose its the worst in since i hatched, i feel like a honey bee, having to work super long hours, having to multi-task *attending to 6calls in 5mins* and to be strong. Waking up at 5.10am is becoming a habit and i now think waking up at 6 is chicken.

Weeks of planning, brainstorming, frustrations and tiredness will soon come to an end. In less than 8hours, our biggest event will start. Weeks/months invested for a perfect week for the juniors. Of course, it will be good "cross fingers", if not, AWESOME!

FEELING
rather guilty for sleeping in lessons or appearing dazed and some teachers actually spoke to me about it. In my mind i was thinking, "now, what should i say?", cause i know i should not use orientation as an excuse. Or maybe it is due to what happened. Of course, i just gave a white lie.

Now that everything has stopped, i don't know where to head, like a lost bird. Forward, backward or to stop. Things happen too fast and i am not even certain whether it was an actual claim. How does one go from here? I need a guide, a path and a direction. Staying stationary will only kill me.

What doesn't kill me, only makes me stronger.

adopting a change seems to help.

OGL training today ended up with an unexpected debrief. what was said were almost very true. If i were in his shoes, i would already have broke down long ago. Pressure and stress from principals, teachers, schoolwork, r/s, friends and the list goes on. Stay strong (Y).
We learn, we change, we improve.
Oh and there's one good thing about joining council! No worries about failing 2.4km & be prepared to slim down due to intensive cardio training sessions! 30more rounds ~!

Went home for a quick shower before rushing out to meet chinrong cause he scolded me in sms saying that im super late. i ended up being the one who's early and had to wait 30mins for that ass to reach town. since my iphone can't be fixed due to the effed up AppleServiceCentre, we went to shop for some new clothings. richbrat tan spent $190!
So we were super late and we rushed over to aidil's house for the supposed " studying session". yinxian managed to complete 2 paragraphs for his essay ! aidil's family is very hospitable and his mum's cooking was superb. we rah-rah-ed for a while after dinner before leaving for home.

& yinxian touched a cat for the first time in his entire 17, close to 18 years of his life, after getting forced by someone..! enjoyy eating the piglets while burning midnight oil :)

it's getting stronger, bigger, better.

School has ended for the week. Am happy cause i get to rest and relax a little, am sad cause its a few more days to the big event.
I finally understand why seniors had been saying J2 is much worse than studying for promotional exams. Barely 2 weeks and there are already 6 tests. If the start is so fast paced, i wonder how it will be in 2 months time. oww. The worse thing is having to study VC on our own and other subjects as we will be missing lessons for the whole week.

Fridays are rather loved cause we get to wake up an hour later (but not today cause we had a mini college test), GP lesson and the 2 hours break. After school, i could not find anyone and so i went to join in Shao's & chuping's PE lessons on my own. After dennis was released, i went for a hair cut with him. chui man, waiting time almost killed the tired me.

Tomorrow will be another tiring weekend..it's been almost two months since i last went to my granny's house for dinner. Have a feeling that the OGLs are getting so much bonded and that it will be a nice event. Even weelun is getting all enthu over orientation!

Lastly, I had a shock of my life last night. My iphone so freaking died on me and it hanged for 30mins. I tried charging it, spamming all the buttons but nothing seemed to work. When it finally got working, my youtube and ipod flashed nothing except the borders. pray that i can get to service it.

i so wannawanna hit 15~~~~!

having read shao's tumblr a few days back and that incident occurring, i can't agree more. trust is such a big word. i had never expected you to be the one who said that of me. two thoughts appeared, one being that you must hate me for some reason, the other, that you don't know me well.
so i was wondering whether to let it be, or to hate. to hate takes as much as to love and i thought that it's because you don't know me well. ain't angry, just disappointed. yet i'm not sure whether it had actually happened, hopefully not.

I don't know how to put this across in a manner such that it is not obvious. How come we always seem to have discontentment, hatred, quarrels amongst our own people? I remember how scary it had been during the v period. After I, i thought things will improve. Well, it did for awhile. however, at times such as O, during meetings, constructive ideas seem to turn into arguments. Its almost a year, when will this ever end ?

Crap, a tired yinxian is a moody yinxian.

First day of school and im already worn out. Lack of sleep and lectures killed me. I was struggling to stay awake during lessons and O meeting. just 25more days and all will be over.

The meetup yesterday was kind of interesting, its my first gg out with a teacher. course we did not care abt the hierarchy and just gossiped and chatted. Was swayed because the staff at PWLH was actually slacking and did not open the shop. Lucky lionel knew the boss of the shop. I never expected office politics to be so fierce and it seems worse than our "i don't friend you alrd" thing. a teaching career seems scary now!

today is the last day of orientation training for the week. i was awed by yifei's bravery today. never seen this side of yifei before, he was so wei feng. But crap, after he scolded them, he realized he missed out a point and went back saying "sorrysorry, i have smth to add on.", so an-ti climax. just hope that the OGLs will be more enthusiastic over orientation and knowing that its not some easy job.
after the OGLs left, we stayed back to have a meeting and a chitchat session with the 22nd. orientation looks to have created bad blood amongst our peeps. somehow event planning never fail to be opportunities for quarrels and hates. it shucks, so don't let it get over us!

gees, im so tired that i wish i can fall asleep like her.

I went to take a nap at 9.45 and was supposed to wake up at 1015 to complete some logistic stuffs but i freaking overslept and the alarm did not sound at all ! Got up at 0500, read the emails from divya&Sc and added in some stuffs. I realized i sent the latest updated list to everyone else using CR's laptop but myself. whatthef.

read from SC's blog, yes im scared as well. homework undone, econs lecture test, chem test, all on the first week. F.
i feel so fail. just hope nothing gets screwed up on my part :/

i love listening to GAGA's songs. Yes, i know, her songs don't make any sense. The lyrics are crappy but somehow her songs sound awesome; just like Bad Romance. I just got GAGA-fied.
But of course, my faveeee song is still Lucky - Jason Mraz. People who listen to it either hate it or love it. I love it!

New year's eve was a BOOMXZ, at least for me hahaha. Met up with Kev, Reu and KY*PSK at Plaza Sing for their dinner and we bought some tidbits and drinks for the "mini-parteh" for countdown.

After KY PSED us, they came over to my house and we watched Taken while waiting for the late comers. I should have watched it earlier, epic movie, 8.5/10! After shaocong arrived, we started opening the liquor and played Indian Poker. We were like freak noobs trying to open chivas. SC even mentioned wiki-ing it! We finally managed to open it and thats when everything started!

We did not explain the rules to SC and AIDIL and they looked at their own cards for the first round and they were forced to kiss, but we let them put a tissue in between. I was so crazy over setting the forfeits cause i KNEW i will not lose and i did not get any forfeit for INDIAN POKER! Looking at friends lick here and there, kiss here and there and yadayada is funnnn! I love the forfeit where a ducktape was on SC's hair legs and we PULLED it off FAST&HARD. HAHA. SC AIDIL REU KEV, PLAY ME SOMEMORE,, if you all can ~!

I only started to get forfeits after Reu asked us to play Who's the King!. It was a minor forfeit anyways so im okay with it. Somehow, i have fate with 3 Hearts . After that, i went out to bring my now 8TH YEAR HONORABLE FRIEND to my house and we continued playing, this time back to Indian Poker. We hatched a plan to sabotage ChinRong and it worked. He had to use his tongue to go in between every single toe of Weelun's leg. We started losing creativity to think of forfeits and decided to watch another movie. Zombieland is super chuis and i wonder how it even made it to theatres! I ended up taking a light nap by my door. When the movie ended, ky said she wanted to go home and so reu,sc,wl,cr and i walked her back while the other two slept like logs in my room.

Returned and we started embarking on our Facebook Project and reading our horoscopes. Anyone believes in it ? I only know Honqi does. Sometimes, it seems hella accurate that makes you really believe it but i don't know. They then left, and i slept till 5.

I remember always going out with Lester, Kev, DX and Pat hunting for makan spots and we had Marriots as a reward for O's. Almost went to The Line which would have been a greater deal but DX was the asshole who didnt want there.

I was chatting on MSN with Kev, reu and ky and we started talking about reflections for year 2009 and this post will probably be dedicated to end the yearrr.

Kev mentioned about the police case and i am sorry about it. After all, i was involved but you all took up the rap for me because you all knew how terrible it will be for me. It's something which i can hardly ever repay to you two. But looking at the chat and hearing you joking about the cuffs and the laughters, im having second thoughts!

Somehow, i feel that the year had gone pass so quickly that i had not have the time to look back. Time seemed to have accelerated. I remember being in TP's DPA camp and on the next day, i was in YJC. School had been a struggle at the start as i was not even prepared nor wanted a JC curriculum and i fared rather poorly. As days passed and knowing that the only poly course left for me is Nursing, i started to get accustomed to YJ and life became so much better.
A year ago, i was also afraid of meeting complete strangers, having to talk to them like normal friends to have an easier life in JC but luckily, i met nice people and i feel comfortable in school.
Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.

The hectic and packed timetables, council meetings and events have made me envy friends in poly who seem/are to be having holidays everyday. Praying so hard that next year will be less crazy though i know it will get worse..
Skip the topic, mentioning schoolwork reminds me of the piles and stacks of work left undone.

since im still thinking of what to reflect on, and kev is pressing for me to publish the post, i shall publish it now and complete it before the clock strikes 12.

Im in love with this cute little guy who used to style his hair for 30mins every morning, hated everyone who messed or touched his hair and who has a photogenic face. His name is kenef goh DA WEI. wishh u all the best and f those assholes.

Wenjie told me last night that he had something for me, a keychain, and i wondered what it will be cause i've never expected him to get something for me. So i met him in school today and he handed over the keychain which he said he thinks suits yx very well.. The keychain bore 3 words - Nobody Loves Me - and a sad tearful face. Thanks for the keychain and for giving me a new catch phrase :z.

Slept unusually late last night and had a disturbed sleep throughout cause people kept spamming my phones and my mum kept waking me up at 10 to 11 ++. Could not stand discomfort and i woke up exceedingly earlier than kkxx. You noob. Had a filling brunch before i had a shower and headed for school to study. Of course, it failed miserably again..

As usual, our icomm meeting never fails -Never- to end up as a gossiping session ! We should form a GGclub, with honqi presiding as the Chairman! There will be another meeting at 10am tmr which i doubt will end up as gg session cause CASSANDRA's THERE!

After the meeting, i left to meet sg mates whom i have not met and chatted for donkey years and we certainly had fun. All of us were wanting to tell each other what happened during the holidays and KC's the funniest. KC, did WeiKang text you ? :OOO

and i cant believe how my sis managed to use her phone such that the billed accounted was 250dollars, totally wtf. As a result, i came home to get a scolding for something i did not do as my mum was boiling. Furthermore, she's not even in sec school!

Hello earthlings, i found the motivation and inspiration to post after having a heated conversation with "BESTIES" on MSN. They suddenly raked up the past and lots of interesting stuffs were brought up and here are kevin's stories...

I remember how SHIRLEY TO LOVED KEVIN SO EFFING MUCH THAT SHE MADE YINXIAN, LESTER, KENNETH HAD ONE WHOLE EFFING WEEK OF DETENTION FROM 1.40PM TO 6.30PM.
what happened: Nvss was holding some international debate a very big event considering that lots of bigshot schools attended it. We had to attend it as part of the language improvement thing and we got bored and started running around. Suddenly, there was news of kenneth being missing and that there were sightings of paranormal activities in the science block. Somehow, i was the one who said kenneth was missing and the whole security team started looking for him..only to find him shitting in the toilet. So, our names were taken down, Ken/me/lester, KEVIN'S name was supposed to be DOWN as well but because the BEAUTIFUL SHIRLEY LOVED KEVIN so much, she REMOVED his name, and he got sparred from the detention.

Some asshole from 2e3 came over to my class, i think its VANESSA WANG, and told us that there's a phone check by the DM and teachers and that our class will be the first. WHICH WAS A FALSE ALARM. Then our balls instantly shrank cause we knew it will be confiscated for long and KEV kept his phone in his locker without helping us (zhenghao, emilie, lester, me). So..we dont have lockers and we decided that the best way was to hide it in the ceiling. The fucking shirley to saw us doing it and she rushed to tell my form teacher who ran to my class and saw zhenghao standing and slotting the phones in. CHEEEEBONG. She then bought one more teacher and the DM and our phones were confiscated for like 3 months. Somehow, Kevin always manage to escape things while L and I always get caught.

Today's studying session turned out not to be very effective as YX was distracted by chatting with Dex, Des and KY. Sorry if i disturbed your studying too. Buay tahan ! Ended up not doing much but i finished my CA1 questions. I can't believe i actually forgot that i have CA3 notes and that MrPoh had gone through it! SORRY WENJIE FOR ASKING U TO PRINT FOR ME, nvm, you have free ink tanks.

So we left school at 6 and i hate aidil and shaocong for doing what they know they did. dammmnned.We caught Sherlock Holmes together and it was okay, except that their english accent is too deep and it's kinda tough to catch certain phrases at times or maybe my angmorh is chuittmx now. At least i got to catch the plot !

The best, and also the worst thing this Christmas is when the Christmas eve is awesome.

so true. What's a boxing day when i have no boxes to box! Was late for training once again and sleeping late almost made me faint.

Merry Christmas everyone :D!
Christmas celebrations this year is madness as i was out for 24hours making me feel rather sick now. Henderson waves yesterday was very nice but be prepared to climb uncountable number of steps before you even reach there. So we reached, found a spot and we started talking and playing CHUA's monopoly(card edition) and i did WIN. When kangyi and amelia FIANNLLYY arrived, we started the gift exchange. Lester got kevin's angpow of $10 while i got amelia's merci chocs! Chatted a little more, took photos and the guys left for Ian's aunt's hse.

On the way, HB left his OOHHOOOOO phone on the bus and we were thinking, sure kena koped already. We tried calling and i asked for the person's name (nelson) and we met in vivocity, and guess what, that's my effing primary school classmate. Singapore is so small.

We managed to psyco a taxi driver to allow 5 people in his taxi and we cabbed over to ian's from serangoon. The most chui part is that the uncle does not know where the place is and his taxi broke down halfway. We ended up leaving the cab, searching for our way through the flooded private hses.

finally, we reached. The house was a big one. we had effing much fun over there. i had not expect so many people to be over there like well over 25ppl, of course, half of them are from 4e4 <3. as the bbq pits were still on, we went to pengzxz porkchop and had supper. ian, ssrsly ask your ahma to open a curry chicken shop and i will visit her store everyday.
went up to the roof story and i saw the CHERYL LIMEI LAYHOE AND HILARIE. as usual, limei went fucking crazy on her on counting down! HAHA. we played indian poker tgt and the forfeits were to kiss another person on the lips, lick their legs/hand or frenchhh kiss. Lucky for me, i kissed 3 guys on the lips, also stealing ver's first virgin kiss. Poor ian had to lick guanrui's hairy legs, but you enjoyed it right ^^.
KVIN WAS THE GREATEST LOSER and he drank lots of BAILEYS .

i hate the monsoon season. It keeps raining and raining, non-stop, for hours, especially during mornings and late afternoons. despite waking up and having reached on time, i was drenched by the shower. we wanted to wait awhile as all we could do was to sit down helplessly, praying that the rain will stop so we can finally use our spikes but it turned out otherwise..

HAPPY EVE'S EVERYONE!

Today was our first cca outing, must admit that the turn up was not really good but we managed to have some fun! Looking at Chinrong's balls shrink when we wanted to play him and Cassandra's wonderful jumps are more than enough !
sorrrry to be meannn.

I was half an hour late for the meeting, lucky no one scolded me. <3 you all. Have to understand the plights and limits of yinxian.. Potluck was erm.. a little unsuccessful cause..whatthehellcan6boysactuallycook.
Siongkoon's potatoes and SEOW's sausages were awesome and mouth-watering !

After Sentosa, we went over to SEOUL at TAKA and it definitely cost a BOMB. The hole in my pocket is already big enough but dinner burnt my whole pants - $25. Of course it was worth while with all the relax-makan-jalan until something terrible happened and world war 3 almost broke up. Lucky, it did not happen, or i will be guilt stricken. ssrsly.

As usual, we guys gossiped, chatted, and did all the other yada-yadas before we left for home.

I hope i will have enough rest for tomorrow and my skin won't be burnt so badly hindering me. & of course, waking up on time :z

Just returned from hell,
i told ryley and nic to prepare an easier training for me on tuesday.

Today was crazy, i was supposed to run 8km under 35mins. wtf! i have not even ran for 435843750460846days&months!
I ran till the 2km mark and made a detour so i only did 5k and it was a terriblee timing.
My legs started to jelly out, then i felt the ache and fatigue from my back muscles and then i decided to run a shorter route :(

Ryley, nic, jd all clocked below 35mins i think 33 for 8k (wtfbbqzxknnbccb). GOSUUUSS.

At least i managed to complete the maintenance part :D

I was walking alone during the shrine visits in Kyoto and ThamHin&Iffah happened to see me and they told me about this Lovers' stone. I was curious and so i accompanied and followed them to the stones and i tried it. I suppose this will be a rather long post since it has been sosososososososososo efffing long since i last posted and neither will there be anyone visiting this *DEAD* blog.

My first trip to Japan is awesome ttm. It was my first time staying in another person's hse (smeone i've nvr met) and i spent 9nights with Aidil. It will be boring hell if i type out everything that happened during the trip so i will wait for dil and gupta to pass me their memory cards for photos soon.

& its Barely a day since i left jpn and im missing the late/midnight chats with councilors, our cup noodles, bento sets, familymart, 100Yen shop not forgetting our lobby and ofurou.
the trip was a blast and time really fleww~
1 more week to christmas
2 more to ogl training
4 more to school re-opening.
sooner or later it will be prelims and the actual exam.

had not expected one year to pass by so quickly..

I had a rwweelly intensive PW and mother tongue timetable last week and it continues this week. MUST SAY that OngCherTat is the best chinese teacher i've ever received or met! I was dead and freaking tired and had no energy to listen to his lessons and he allowed me to sleeep during lessons! sorry about that though,,
I will get a D for you mr ong and you better treat the whole class to buffet as you said previously.

Next was PW, we finally fucking completed our WR and we had it printed by a laser printer and two whole sets cost us $93. Adding up the money we paid for the previous printed WR, it amounts to $110. So by simple division, each of us paid around $27 for WR. At least the printing was IMBA nice and we are really satisfied with our report. Big burden lifted off our chests.
After WR, it will be OP this friday. We are almost done rehearsing our speeches and skit and i hope that we can memorize our speech by thursday and get EEEEEE again. Lets hope that things turn out very well and we are able to answer the questions without must hesitation nor pauses.

Following the closure of PW comes graduation night.. I must say i have not been doing very much due to lack of time and etcetc --> imawhinerffs. This saturday will be a free day and i will go window shopping for the items and source for gifts! Meanwhile, friends with creative and exotic ideas, please throw them in. We're going to make the grad night a BLAST/BOOMZXZ!

Thats the major events that are going to take place till the end of the year if i am not wrong. Everything will go well for me & i hope it goes well for every one of my friends too. Lets not be pessimist and think of the worst that can happen to us, instead, lets enjoy this time together before we receive any bad news! Sounds terribly bad but this period could be the only period left for all of us to celebrate, play and enjoy together!

I woke up at 9am for the first time on a Sunday to go running with dicky. He was LATE. Anyway, we went to macritchie and it has changed a lot. From the black carparks to the hmms,, nice sheltered area and the old cafeteria is gone!

Funny thing that happened today was a couple actually followed us all the way cause they didnt know the direction and we led them to the middle of nowhere. We were lost too. So we ran away !

Macritchie was awesome,
I walked pass 10monkeys on the bridge,
we got lost and ended up in bishan/thomsonplaza instead of Macritchie (so we did more than 20km)
Then after we got back,
we went to DinTaiFung for lunch!

past 2 days was totally a waste, except that we pretty much did up our WR draft 1. Proud of that. Finally it seems we're not lagging behind for PW. Saturday was meeting with committee over some projects and the afternoon was slacking all the way.
Today's worst, after pw, i decided not to meet up with them as i thought it was late and i had lots of work undone. Came home, ended up playing dota, chatting online.

Yesterday night, i counted the number of studying days ( days we have to attend school) and its barely 60, to promos. Which means roughly 18~20 days per month left. Everything seem so fast, months back, i was dreadful of jc and its hectic curriculum and its ending soon. If i get promoted, i'll thank god. if otherwise, probably i'll be transferring. Just not the guy who can sit down and study or even pay attention in class.

Wonder how im going to survive the horrifying promos when i can even get a disappointing U for H1 Chem. Jere, lets prepare for the worse. Either SR or NYP? :/

My already low mood has been dampened again, for being scolded for something that was not caused by me. I am also facing the same problems as you and i tried solving it several occasions but it failed. I could not and there's nothing i can else do.

I was in school yesterday for project work and we realized that what we had been doing were not up to standards. Project work is tough, demanding and tiring.
Doing something but never realizing what you've been doing is so wrong.

Left school for town to meet up with Liao for his course's project. I think he probably screwed up the project - the waitress not being the least interested with the interview. What did we do at the cafe then? Talked about jinjie's past, last year and all the funny shiets.

Slowing the pace; catching up

After yesterday, i realized how long i have not been in the mall, actually spending time to walk and window shop. Saw many changes in places i have been, not realizing it till now. Suppose JC have made me shortchanged and pressed for time, so much so that i've been only living a life between school and home.

Yesterday's bloc tests made us felt more at ease as we cleared two subjects but still, we're left with 4 content based ones. We went for a good meal together, one we have not had before and it was gratifying. I felt like myself, not just cooped up with studies and commitments in school. Despite so, i knew it was momentary, transient.

Today, i went to Team NV's BBQ, which i originally thought was a session held as it was semester break. Did not expect it to be a celebration for Coach's birthday. Anyway whatever the BBQ was for it not important. The FUN was all that mattered. Caught up with Coach and we had some talk. I was taken aback and amazed at how much my juniors were able to attain through the trainings. Nicholas, ex-capt, is running at 7.31min for 2.4km and is doing 16pull-ups. Previously, he was running at 11mins odd. Bryan is now doing 19pull-ups. I recall him doing only 9 when Billy was around. Tremendous effort and their improvements are more than what words can comment on. Perhaps the person which really had me thrown off was small Bryan. Last year, when he was sec1, he barely could even run. We(seniors) did not expect much from him and he was not very much interested in trainings(as i saw). However, despite not having a niche in running, he continued it as a cca and hell, he's running 9mins flat. Imagine that for a sec2 boy. Kenneth and i were far from there.

I must admit that the Team is indeed strong now, not to be messed with and is incredible. Just like a silent tiger, staying low but ready to pounce anytime. Great feat, mr will!

Kenneth, jiaqi, kangyi and iris arrived superbly late.. Kenneth told me that he was on his way at 5 and he reached at 7 or 8. Same for jiaqi. LIARS*. We played tennis, played monopoly and talked about how we were doing. You two, transfer to JC la! The two arts student are doing nothing but countless drawing of art pieces and sketches. Kudos to design schools. Kenneth is still the same old person, Jiaqi is getting more lian, iris is same as before and kangyi is same as before! Actually, dont be bothered by poly mates. You're bound to meet all sorts of people everywhere. It's just that your luck is so bad that you're going to be stuck with them for 3years. I'll pray harddd for you.

The idea of acceptance here is whether you're able to achieve it. Noticed this from someone's msn and thought it is relevant to me. How many are able to actually accept failing? and actually constantly trying?
Not me.

Already, mere 8questions are tying and pinning me down. Surviving in this never ending race is ever tougher with increasing obstacles along the way. Perhaps momentum during the start-up was low and increasing it now is tough and a tad too late. A race with countless of inexplicable emotions and uncertainties - Fear, Excitement, Joy, Sadness, Rigor and definitely more -, probably more to the negatives. Am I, therefore, going to give up this race?
I want to, but i can't.
I don't want to, but it seems that i am.
However, it is a lesson i'll learn, that is, to endure.
Maybe somewhere along the race, i might gain something, at least.

Its just the first day of school and i almost got screwed so badly. Lack of sleep, uncompleted homeworks, stress, illness. Damned.

Good Friday is drawing nearer! The week is coming to a close! Thats how i get my motivation and drive. After all the bullshit tests, CAs, speech(tmr), i'm going to have my dear break!

I returned to school today to collect my O'level cert. Lol, after being in a college, it made me realize how insignificant that bullcrap piece of paper is. Caught up with mr hafeez and he spoke to me for a short while. Like always, he gives me direction. Play hard and work hard, whats the point of studying so hard in JC and you dont get good results? Also, what if you score very well but you've not lived your life? Teenage years come once, not twice and no more.
If i'm really going to fuckin(sorry to those who do not like use of vulgarities) fail, i'll be transferring to a poly. Thats what i have in mind for now. Of course, i want things to turn out well.

Hectic curriculum is a no-no for someone like me.

Final speech for campaign is on tmr during assembly period. Get pass it and i'm done. If i do get in, i've no idea how im gonna cope with my studies given the current situation. If i do not, it might be a blessing in disguise but its rather paiseh having worn the tag for so long and you failed to get in. Time management..too cliche..

Tomorrow we'll be going out. Note to sunchest and the rest of my friends. Whoever wants to join us, just come along.

Initially, i just wanted to post up all the photos and leave this post with no proper post. However i thought that after today, i doubt i will have anymore time in the near future(for the month :x) to have a second post. Sooo, i decided to blog about everything that had occurred around my surroundings and thoughts in my mind.

This week up, or in fact the past two weeks, numerous birthdays have passed. Birthday wishes to KY WILLIAM LEWIS CHIENWAN KAILIN. Next week will be XIONGWEI HERMAN CHARMAINE MINGYUE and MEGAT's. Happy birthday to all!

Since the start of school, i had been whining about the tough and rigor curriculum of JC as compared to secondary life. Indeed it is true, and it made me open my eyes up to lots of stuffs and my perspectives. Now, studying is not seen as an option but a must. Those who are in with me in JCs are probably missing the days when things were as easy and as relaxed as they had wanted but the current is so far from that. Friends and relatives have been telling me to just sit down and study, forget about the rest. No, it isnt an easy change for a person like me. Imagine a guy who got into discipline problems, always the mischief one, late for school, neglects homeworks, dotas, games. even if i am to change, it is not going to be a day's work and not an easy one. Perhaps i will see how things work out for me, if it doesnt, prolly i'll just quit school and do something else. If things turn out well, i'll just stay on for the A's.

A total new environment where you only know 5 people isn't a very good thing at the start. yet from there, i grew to know more people, people who i can talk to, play with and do things with. yes, the people there are nice and i'm glad to experience that. State of matters towards the academics are however, not doing so well. It is norm to fail now and i believe it isnt a good feeling for those who are in with me. This is the factor that is giving me all the negative thoughts. Very soon, PW will also start and i wonder how Hectic i'll get. Discipline is to be learned now.

On another note, it is the holidays now. Not actually holidays for me as we had to return to school for cover-up lessons missed during out bintan camp. In short, 2days were gone. Wednesday was wasted at home playing computer games. Thursday was fine with Student Council interview ( which i probably flopped badly), dinner with my relatives and family and an hour run with my sis. Now, i am just left with 2days. Saturday and Sunday. I have plans to study fully on Sunday to catch up all the schoolwork for term1 and tomorrow will be my only termed holiday.

I'm glad that through the past few days i had taken the time to think of what i might actually want to do when i grow up. Simple put, my plans and ambitions. Of course, saying and thinking is nothing compared to putting things done into action. Not forgetting, running has become my means of relaxation and a form of keeping fit. Had only the 'running' came to me few years back. All the slag accumulated are going to take some time before i can actually get back on track. Nevertheless, it is a good sign for me.
Coach's mantra : Life is short, running seems to make it longer. Tough times don't last, tough people do.
Am going to work to achieve them.

I believe this is getting a little draggy and i seem to have already pen down all my thoughts and feelings. So yup, will be stopping here.

Finally the weekend is arriving! However, it is a pity as it is short lived. Tomorrow i'll be packed with the CVD funfair/carnival and Sunday will be my revision day, that is if i am able to sit down in my room and study. Monday, supposed a holiday, is being converted into a typical school day as a make-up for the lessons we missed during our Bintan Trip. What interesting March holidays. Not forgetting my double test (H2 maths, H1 chem) on Monday as well. "Lovvvviinnnnggg YJC

The training and running 'passion' is coming back to me. I do hope it comes back, after all, i have to train up for that sh|t Napfa. 4 or 5 more weeks, one jargon, JIALAT. A bad thing is that i am accustomed to running long distance rather than 2.4km which is speed intensive :/ All the best to myself!

I'll be back to my previous style of blogging. Just pictures :D. After all time is limited. Physics is killing me and the teacher is screwing us up. Chinese is fuck shit and i got U for the first assessment. Maths is another subject which i have no nuts what the hell the teacher is talking about. Retaining is closer to my reach now and failure is not an option.

Grades and ambitions are a person's source of motivation to study in a college. My source of motivation is (YOUKNOWRIGHTREUBEN) and also to get out of the college! LOL. No, in fact, the people I've known are really nice people, it is just that i can't adapt to the school system. Considering that i can't catch up now, i dont foresee why i won't make the mark.

Jc life is extremely hectic, exhaustive and tiring, maybe only for me. Stressed up? Probably not yet as i am still in my slack self. When have i ever been serious about something so badly anyways. Even though the test quantity is lesser than what we had during secondary 4 life, the content, the depth and the difficulty is.. ownage.

22 PRC(people rep of china i think) scholars recently came to my school for a 2 week bridging~ immersion programme to experience Singapore's college life. Some facts known about them, they are only a year older than us, meaning to say, 18. However, most of them completed their A's last year, at age 17. Already they are admitted into NUS sciences/engineering and computing faculties. All of them are practically genius la. Through this buddy thing, i got to know WeiLun, Charlie, ChengYuan and Tang Na. Bloody MillieQuck told her buddy tang na that i said her English was lousy. Initially, i did not want to participate cause i thought, sorry for being a ___cist but i thought they will be nerdy and stuffs, like the majority norm singaporean's mindset. Yet, i have come to realize they are interesting and fun people!

Now lets bring the subject to academics. I recently received back my Economics test 1 and had Econs test 2 and Physics test today. Econs test1 was so badly screwed up that i got 3/10. I dont have any high expectations for the physics and econs papers anyways. The content for all subjects are too taxing for me to take :O

Another piece of news regarding my JC life : I left Volleyball for ODAC. Volleyball and ball games just ain't my cut or niche. ODAC's first training today was the amazing race, enjoyed and it was awesomeee. My team of millie and pingguan got third and our price was a sugarcane. Interesting prize indeed.

Lastly, i hope so, this post goes out to TEAM NV THE SPEED DEMONS. Jian Da, Meiqiu, Nicholas, Ryley and Maisyah, all the best to you guys for upcoming competitions and the Sports Day next week! The best bet will be to see records being broken and Athletics clinching champion for all divisions and races for CCA relays. I will be scheduling to see whether i can spare some time just so to exhibit the sports day once again. If possible, join in the alumni race with Kenneth and gang.

Just and am having a talk with e4 boys and we were discussing about what happens if i retain? What are the options available? If i were to transfer to a poly, the consequences and if i fare badly for A's what are the other routes i can opt for. Think i will follow like what reuben had told me.
If i fail for promotional exams, retain and do better or move on to poly year2 courses.
If i do badly for A's, go overseas or get local private U.
If i do okay for A's, local universities -> NIE/further studies.
So in all, i still have to study for freaking 4years more at least. Am really hoping things will turn out well like it always had been for me. So smooth sailing without any hurricanes or obstacles in the open sea.

Surprisingly, I went into Peace Centre's pool wearing YJC's orientation shirt. I was obviously late, extremely, of i think 1hour to meet Kevin. SORRY KEVIN FOR WAITING! I hadn't realize that the school's briefing will end so late with all the technical problems and the delays here and there. It was unforeseen :/

Then i rushhheeeddd down after the debrief with WH to the MRT station and ps-ed zai yao in the event. Sorry to you too! What a dumb ass i am to have actually went in the opposite direction to Paradise Plaza to water loo street. Pool was next with Herman, Kevin and Reuben and we left after awhile.

Now some of you will be able to see how short my posts are getting.. JC life is screwing my hours of sleep and hours toward recreational activities like blogging and dota-ing.

I am so effing busy even though it is just the third week, 1st week for me in the school. This is why you seldom see me posting every other day as I did during the holidays.

How i crave for holidays now and that laziness accumulated over the past few months are killing me now. Sleeping in classes and not understanding anything, not having time to complete my homework/assignments and revise. Basically i am lagging behind? Lucky I am not the one alone. Shall see how things go huh :D

I am inside volleyball in YJC now. Think almost everyone I have chatted with recently would have known. I am thinking of going over to the Track&Field team if the school offers jumping however, WeeLun HouZuo and I saw the Indian Teacher-In-Charge of the Track team and he was, FUCK. Those trackers we like..NSMEN during the 60's or 70's. He was shouting at them like how a screwed up rich brat will scold his maid. owww. Probably i will just stay in volleyball? Yet i am unsure whether i'm "into" it. I am a lazy guy and i am thinking of joining Clubs. More ahgua type one :O
--> So Team NV, treasure coach as he is not like the screwed up teacher/coach in my JC.

Now to the workload. Weelun told me that he is unable to cope with the stress and tremendous workload now. This applies to me. He is scaring me by telling me those retain stuffs and such. For this part, Fuck JC's curriculum. One more thing I am unpleasant over :/ I do not understand why my school seperated us into different SubjectGroups(SG) even though we had been given a class(CTG). Meaning to say, we will not get to meet our classmates, okay, only 3hours per week. What is the point of the orientation then? Though i wasn't there.

I am trying to rush out this post as I have to get a shower and thereafter, study and complete my homework. I owe the econs teacher one sh|t project and i think i have already scored 0 for it since it had been long overdue-d.

Following which, i mrt-ed all the way to Sengkang to find Kevin. Whilst waiting, REUBEN called me and we had this kinda chat. He sounds so different. Really hope for a better turn of things.

Forgive if i fail to recall but we had 6plates of Beef, 2plates of meatball (around 60 or 50. i counted), 2plateful of dory fish and more and more. Kevin even broke his own record of having prawns at steamboat. Prawn King as always.

Left the place at 5 and bill amounted to $16 per pax. Suntec City was next and we visited the arcade. That KNNBCCBGOSUFUX PRESIDENT ROBERT OBAMA GAN WEE LUN SPENT ONLY $1 TO GET HIS MINNIE MOUSE PLUSHIE OR SOFT TOY, WHATEVER YOU CALL IT. Kevin and I had to actually spend $18to get 3 smaller ones. Fuxxxxxxx. Kind of not going to mention the later part of the day. Put it simply, caught up with friends at Alps Cafe.

Currently chatting to DingXuan and Weelun on MSN now and dicky gave me this task of listing down the memories and the stupid stuffs we did during Secondary Life. Think i will go by the years.

Secondary 1 :
1) I remember i spilled laska on Dingxuan's bag and he hated me like dont know what. We were really distant then and we not on very good terms. I guess so.
2) I remember going to block 143 to play soccer but i will just sit there to rest as i suck at ball games.
3) I remember always going to macritchie and turf city with my teammates for cross-country training. We were fucking bonded. Hope this stays on not only the batch after us but always. Go TEAM NV!

Secondary 2 :
1) I sat beside kenneth and i always sleep till once he told me : Nabei, sit with you fucking sian, you keep sleep.
2) I remember sitting beside Chienwan and getting bullied by her but she always helped me copy notes.
3) I remembered my phone got confiscated for 1month as we tried to hide the phones in the ceiling following a false alarm by 2e3 people. Zhenghao climbed on the table and we were pao-toed by AHEM*. Teacher saw and phones were gone for 1month.
4) I remember during the international debate session, we reported that Kenneth was missing and that there were ghosts in the science blocks. Names were taken down EXCEPT for KEVIN's FOR SOME REASON, and those whose names were taken down had detention for 7days, till 6.30pm.
5) Dingxuan reminded me of this. We always had this block catching for people's birthday!
6) Ms Zue called me a ZOMBIE cause i slept in almost all lessons and she said i look deprived of vitamins.
7) I WAS THE PE CAPTAIN OKAY!!

Secondary 3 :
1)I remembered quarrelling with Ms Lee over a shoe. Some of you might remember that i even shouted at her demanding an apology! LOL.
2) During class chalet, that was when it all started man.
3) Mr Hafeez humiliated me by saying i think i am so smart and all those sarcastic words and phrases. However, he has his intentions for so. He is the best!
4) I became the Cleanliness rep, my first ever class committee role!
5) I had detested Dai Lao Shi then, NOT NOW, that she once asked me, you look as though you are unhappy and hate me. I feel so guilty thinking of it now.
6) We had our first class bbq at reuben's place on 31st May and celebrated Limei's birthday as well. Reuben's dad was the man that night!
7) I got fined $50 for tailgating at Sengkang Mrt.
8) Almost every now and then, Kenneth and gang will come for a swim at my house or pool. Almost every week.
9) I remember going home with Eric almost everyday! Taking 82 :D

Secondary 4 :
WOAHS SEHSZX THIS IS MOST HIONG ONE.
1) We all went to ChompChomp for single's valentines. I remember the cookies..lol.
2) I was so saddened by the relay race which i flopped up if not we could have fucking won.
3) I WENT BALD WITH KEVIN! BALDIIIEEEEE
4) We always met up to study together, hongbin patrick etcetc.
5) This is not only for secondary 4 but our sorta clique, always celebrated people's birthdays at Future Park. Usual routine was flour and cake smash! I always manage to evade those attacks. Yawns newbies :S
6) I remember how me and reuben will always go out together, even if there were two of us, almost everyday.
7) DOTA DOTA DOTA AND DOTA!
8) That fake bfgf relationship, fake after all huh.
9) I remember Karthik always brought Mini sized milo to school every morning.

Did i mention that i will be transferred to a JC? Well this is for friends who have yet got the news, in case you all blame me for not telling you. A pity I will not be in the same school as 15~20 of my classmates in TP. A rather long story to start with of how i ended up in a JC, did not even know about it. Nvm, i will survive strong here with the many new friends I'm getting to know.

Have this influx of meeting lots of new people and new friends recently. First was DPA-PPP camp and now over at my JC. The DPA Camp was AWEEESOMMEE, especially on the last day. You could see everyone basically chatting to each other as though we had known each other for a long time. Yup, a good friend i've known is Dylan, many more to list la. The seniors should be thanked extensively for their tremendous effort to put up the programme for us(This excludes Shirlee and KH) HAHA! It is kind of sad having to part, afterall, we finally got to know some of everyone better. However, I am not able continue there as I had been withdrawn without consent. Hope the 4days forged will be able to last despite not being together in the same class anymore.

This portion will be about today, suppose so.. School was relatively lax today as there were only talks. Got to know some of my classmates better and things are pretty on track and well. Still have yet bought my uniform as it is sold out. Stocks came in and before school even ended, all were sold out. Damn fux. Oh ya, i am taking H2 Phy Maths and Econs with H1 chem. My H2 econs lecturer is Awwweeeeessooommeee. Selected and chose volleyball as my first choice followed by Student's Council and Track&Field. Though running was my cca then, I was from Xcountry and pretty much not so into Track :/ Might join track&field and opt for jumps if YJ offers it, loves jumping :D

After the CVT or CVD talks, I went back to NVSS with weelun and millie. Yes weelun, this part is for you riaos, you were really fantastic and brave, all the positive and garang adjectives to you. Stay strong and soon, the metal will be melt :D:D:D:D

A pity there will not be many photos uploaded this time as i've been busy, reallyreally busy with the DPA camp and JC curriculum that i have yet got time to even snap shots. Some of the DPA photos are available but i have no idea how to save them on my computer.

School has already started for me and I am no different from a JC student! Timetable of 8.30~5.30 / 9~5. In fact, it seems worse than that of a JC student's timetable. Lucky that people there are friendly, nice seniors. The whole of next week will be the Leadership Camp, high&low elements, dragonboating and stuffs.

Good news is that I will finally have something to do. A pity though, I do not think i have any breaks other than weekends. It sounds so lifeless..actually it is. A little too hefty a schedule.

Now..i have to sleep before 12 and wake at 6.45/7 so i wont be late. Aw, NVSS still seem to be the best option, if given of course.

Forgot to add in, I am a D-ADDICT NOW! Finished Heroes Season 3, Heavenly Dragon - The Eighth Episode and am watching Royal Tramp by Huang Xiao Ming starring as Wei Xiao Bao. :D:D:D
